Looking for more Clip Art for your Microsoft Office 365 Enterprise projects? In this quick tutorial, we’ll see how to download additional images and media from Microsoft Online to help you add that perfect touch to your documents, spreadsheets or presentation.
Microsoft offers thousands of free images, animations, photos and sounds for download. MS has also partnered with stock image resellers Fotolia, iStockphoto, Veer Images, NVTOfficeClips, Presentation Pro, Animation factory and PhotosToGo to offer millions of high resolution, top quality images – but of course, those cost money.
To search and download FREE clip art from Microsoft, visit Microsoft Office Online using the link provided at the bottom of this article. For free image and media offerings, scroll down the page to the section titled “Browse Clip Art and Media Categories”. In this section, you can either access specific categories by clicking on the category name or use the search section at the bottom.
Once you’ve found your desired category or search results page, navigate through the thumbnails by using the arrows at the top right or bottom right of the section (bracketing the word “Next”). You can preview a larger version of these thumbnails by clicking on their respective magnifying glass. If you find an image or media you like, check its corresponding check box to select it. You can select as many as you like.
When you’ve picked out all your images or media, click the “Download x items” link from the left hand menu “Selection Basket”. When the Microsoft Service Agreement appears, simply click “Accept” and click on the “Download Now” button.
When prompted, select “Clip Organizer” for the “Open with…” option and click “OK”.
The Clip Organizer opens once the download is complete. You will note that your images or media appear and the folder(s) in which they were downloaded are lightly colored or highlighted.
